  • ओ- सील मध्ये 2% ऑर्थो सिलिसिक अॅसिड म्हणजेच पिकाला लागणारा सिलिकॉनचा उपलब्ध अवस्थेतील स्त्रोत आहे. 
  • वनस्पती सिलिकॉनचा वापर फक्‍त सिलिसिक ऍसिडच्या (Silicic acid) रूपातच चांगल्या प्रकारे करतात.
  • सिलिकॉन पानांचा आकार वाढवते त्यामुळे प्रकाशसंश्लेषण क्रियेचा वेग वाढतो व अन्न निर्मिती मोठ्या प्रमाणात होण्यास मदत होते.
  • पानांच्या पृष्ठभागावर सिलिसिक आम्लाचा थर जमा झाल्यामुळे रसशोषक किडींपासून पिकांचे संरक्षण होते.
  • कमी पाण्यामध्ये सुद्धा पिके तग धरून राहू शकतात.

  • सिलिकॉन हे पिकांना आवश्यक असलेले 17 वे महत्वाचे अन्नद्रव्य आहे. प्रकाशसंश्लेषण क्रियेमद्धे तसेच वनस्पतीच्या सर्व भागांमध्ये अन्न पोहचविण्याच्या क्रियेत सिलिकॉनची महत्वाची भूमिका असते. 
  • ओ सील च्या वापरामुळे, पिकांवरील रोग किडींना देखील आळा बसतो. पानांच्या शिरा व खोडे मजबूत होतात त्यामुळे वाऱ्यापासून पिकांचे नुकसान होत नाही. 
  • द्राक्ष, डाळिंब, भाजीपाला या अतिसंवेदनशील पिकांमध्ये दर १० ते १२ दिवसांनी ओ- सीलची फवारणी केली असता पिकांवरती रोग व किडींचा प्रादुर्भाव कमी झालेला दिसतो.
  • ओ- सीलच्या वापरामुळे फळांमध्ये पाण्याचे संतुलन राखले जाऊन फळाची प्रत सुधारते व टिकवणक्षमता वाढते, फळांना चकाकी येते.
  • भातासारख्या पिकामध्ये सिलिकॉनची कमतरता भरून काढली जाते. 
  • अति उष्ण किंवा थंड वातावरणाचा पिकांवर परिणाम होत नाही.

  • With the use of O-Sil, disease pests on crops are also prevented. Veins and stems of leaves are strengthened so that crops are not damaged by wind
  • When O-Sil is sprayed every 10 to 12 days in highly sensitive crops such as grapes, pomegranate, vegetables, the incidence of diseases and insects on the crops is reduced
